Wolf Tooth English (BSA) bottom brackets are engineered for durability, reliability, and smooth performance. Best-in-class weather sealing features o-ring seals on the spindle and inner shell, a wiper connection seal between bearing and end cap, bearing race seals, and a labyrinth end cap design to keep water and trail debris out. Custom polymer spindle bushings separate the bearing inner race from the crank spindle, eliminating metal-on-metal contact to prevent creaking and extend crankset life. The custom AlSi 52100 chrome bearing steel is hardened to Rc 61-66 for reduced friction and smooth pedaling, with ZNA corrosion-resistant coating for longevity. Ball diameter, width, and counts were custom selected by Wolf Tooth based on spindle diameter for optimal performance. Adjustable-width shells fit both 68 and 73 mm frame bottom bracket shells.
