Wolf Tooth T47 External Bottom Brackets are engineered for smooth, durable performance with custom bearings, seals, and bushings that eliminate creaking and deliver best-in-class weather sealing. Featuring hardened chrome bearing steel with ZNA corrosion-resistant coating, these brackets reduce friction and spinning resistance while maintaining superior durability in all conditions. The advanced sealing system combines spindle o-rings, bearing/bushing gutter seals, low-contact bearing seals, shell o-rings, and a labyrinth-style end cap to protect against moisture and debris. Custom bushings eliminate metal-on-metal contact—the leading cause of creaks—while extending bearing life and maximizing weatherproofing. Designed, engineered, machined, and assembled in-house at Wolf Tooth HQ in Minnesota, these brackets fit 68mm–73mm T47 shells and accommodate 30mm spindles. The adjustable-width internal sleeve ensures precise fit, while included spacers (2.5mm, 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm) allow customization for your frame. Installation requires a standard spline 46-12 bottom bracket tool (sold separately).
